PROVIDERS: Understanding Holder vs Provider
CEU Holders
In CEU Locker, CEU Holders are those users that have connected to a specific organization, and are the users that are "holding" continuing education credits for their personal purposes, such as licensing, graduation, or other achievement that requires tracking of continuing education over time. CEU Holders are not companies or individuals that are conducting courses offered for credit in an industry.
CEU Providers
CEU Providers are those profit or nonprofit entities whose purpose is to conduct continuing education courses, for an audience that needs such continuing education credit. It is often necessary for the CEU Providers to gain official approval for their course content on a state, regional, or national level. This official approval or accreditation can be required, or very very important for purposes of marketing, validation, registration, etc.
In CEU Locker, the CEU Providers that submit applications into our participating Organizations, and are able to gain Approval by those organizations, are given two valuable assets for there event purposes: A) an official approval seal from the Organization, and B) placement on the official Approved Credit/Courses event calendar that each Organization supplies its users.
